Second Star to The Right, 2017

This project was in partnership with Hijinx production

          Second Star to the Right, who work with performers, some of which have a disability. The project explored the world of Neverland after Peter pan, this theme was then incorporated into our own work. The overarching theme was explored creatively through a series of art workshops tailored to the needs of the participants and the production, and in turn, a suitcase and a creative access resource were created. 

The suitcase was created to use as a treasure chest, in line with the theme of Neverland to store equipment in each week and transport art materials to placement. The creative access resource I created was a series of textile tactile pillows which acted as helpful resources to work with when facilitating workshops with participants.

All works made by participants contributed to the production Second Star to the Right and were exhibited together in the Wales Millennium Centre where the production was taking place.
