This project took place in a primary school and was designed to correspond with the key stage 2 Curriculum. The theme of this project was Tudors.

Participants explored new themes linking to the Tudor period and their historical culture each week, such as Tudor Expeditions; Portraiture; Knot Gardens etc.

The sessions, although suited to the school curriculum, were also tailored to participants individual interests and needs. 

Over the course of 6 weeks, 12 sessions were undertaken. Aims of these sessions were to improve Participants confidence and abilities in Art and Creativity and as a result, their knowledge of Tudor History strengthened. Furthermore, their fine motor skills, and literacy skills were developed over the course of the project, as well as their independence and autonomy in creative decision making.
