WELLBEING WORKSHOP
This workshop took place at USW Treforest Campus, where myself and fellow peers were dressed in embroidered scrubs, offering interactive wellbeing activities to the public.
People had the opportunity to sew their own self help bags and were invited to the 'operating table' to select what they need to place in them which included interactive and hand sculptured 'organs' that represented an emotion; or feeling in the body such as textile butterflies for the emotion anxiety. Alongside this, available were 'bedside' worry dolls which participants could also make themselves. There was also a 'brain' made out of jelly with hidden marbles inside. These marble were to be fished out. There was also a 'gall stone' voting system where prescriptions of well-being and happiness were handed out.
